The processes for each roof replacement is different and timelines can differ significantly. Some key things to keep in mind are:

• If you have a homeowner’s association, have them sign off on the type of material you will be choosing to work with. We need this approval as soon as possible.
• Typically, metal roofs are the most expensive, then comes tile and then shingle roof replacements.
• What makes a roof water-tight is the underlayment, not the actual tile/shingle/metal. Tiles, Shingles and/or Metals are more for aesthetics than anything else.
• Tile delivery can range anywhere between 4 - 24 weeks.
• There is permitting paperwork that needs to be submitted and approved by each city municipality, we take care of this part, but there are things you are going to have to sign, initial and/or notarize. Permit approval can take anywhere between 2 - 8 weeks.
• We collect a 10% deposit as soon are you’re ready to sign the contract.
• Your roof replacement start date is contingent upon projects ahead of yours and good weather. Our crew can not work if the weather has been bad, looks like it’s going to be bad or is bad in any way, shape or form.
• You will receive emails and phone calls from us throughout the entire roof replacement process, including: when your permit has been approved, when your tentative start date is, when the actual start date will be, when materials will be delivered and when final roof inspection has been passed.
• Before our performance of tear off, pease be sure to read our Do’s and Don’ts list below:
  

  • Do remove all vehicles from your driveway.
  • Do remove all valuables from the perimeter of your home, such as grills, pottery, plants, landscaping lights, statues, fountains... anything breakable and moveable.
  • Do notify guard gates of company’s vehicles. We come and go throughout the day.
  • Do provide access to electricity.
  • Do secure all family pets within the home.
  • Do provide us access throughout the entire exterior of your home. Unlock all gates.
  • Do notify neighbors of your roof replacement.
  • Do turn off all pool pumps.

  

  • Don't perform any cosmetic exterior work, including painting, landscaping, driveways, irrigation systems, etc.
  • Don't repair any water damage from existing roof leaks.
• Keep in mind every roof replacement customer will receive a certified “Notice to Owner” letter that states that our suppliers have the ability to place a lien on your home. Don’t freak out! This is totally normal protocol. Upon a passed final inspection and final payment, you will receive a release of lien, which negates any and all lien rights we or anyone else has against your property.
